Tech7 is looking for a Sr. Program Manager to join our team. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Co. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to Colorado Springs as this position is hybrid which has an onsite requirement.
The scope of the overall effort is to provide Acquisition lifecycle support to the SSC/BCC Directorate in all phases of an acquisition lifecycle. Examples of the support provided include acquisition and program and contract management expertise across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, review and preparation of financial documentation, review and preparation of a variety of program management documentation to support milestone and periodic reviews and tracking of action items.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide enterprise level Acquisition, Program Management, and Budget execution support to the Advanced Capabilities & Battlespace Integration Squadron, throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, for the portfolio of projects totaling $150M annually
Serve as a Senior and Expert level advisor to the Materiel Leader on Programmatics, Forecasting of Funds Obligation & Execution, and Risk Management
Develop and deploy efficient tracking and reporting tools for managing annual Budget, matriculation from Project to Program of Record activities, and Communication Plan development for stakeholder engagement
Define and disseminate organization-wide program management tools, metrics, and standards.
Communicate between product and technology groups to ensure the program creates high quality products
Provide recommendations and plans that further the efforts of transparency and accountability of annual Funding across the vast portfolio of software efforts within the squadron
Manage staffing and successful performance of team members.
Maintain positive customer relationships at strategic and tactical levels
Support the Odyssey Task Lead as requested in support of the Odyssey Prime Contract
Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations upon government direction
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Management, with Master’s Degree in either preferred
10+years experience combined in engineering & program management positions
Experience in Department of Defense or Intelligence Community space system acquisition processes
Project Management Professional certification desired
