Tech7 is looking for a Senior Intelligence SME, Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) to join our team located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is full time, onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Senior Intelligence SME, Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) for Space will lead the development and optimization of advanced BMC3 systems for space operations. This role involves driving strategic assessments, designing innovative architectures, mentoring professionals, and collaborating across the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) to address emerging challenges. The ideal candidate will ensure mission success through expert program management, threat mitigation, and technical innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership in the development and integration of advanced BMC3 capabilities for space-based systems, experience in intelligence operations and technical innovation.
Serve as a technical authority on satellite operations, spacecraft dynamics, and orbital mechanics, ensuring optimal performance of BMC3 systems.
Advocate for bold technical collection capabilities and analytical tradecraft across the Intelligence Community (IC) to modernize BMC3 systems and align them with national security objectives.
Lead the design and implementation of innovative architectures for BMC3 systems, integrating multi-INT solutions and advanced technologies to address emerging threats.
Team leadership and supervisory responsibilities may be required due to Tech7 anticipating these tasks will grow and more team members will be needed. The anticipated team size is 3 to 10 personnel.
Conduct end-to-end assessments of BMC3 systems, identifying gaps and recommending solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and resilience.
Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across the IC, DoD, and commercial sectors to drive collaboration and achieve mission objectives.
Develop BMC3 requirements that integrate strategic assessments of foreign threat systems and implement mitigation strategies to counter adversary capabilities in the space domain.
Mentor junior intelligence and defense acquisition professionals and provide groundbreaking instruction on BMC3 systems, leveraging experience as an intelligence educator and curriculum developer.
Lead research initiatives to explore disruptive technologies, including artificial intelligence, advanced computing, and quantum systems, for integration into BMC3 operations.
Oversee program management review (PMR) processes, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule and within budget while exceeding client expectations.
Leverage advanced data processing methods to evaluate intelligence collection from space, airborne, and terrestrial sources, supporting active operations and BMC3 decision-making.
Prepare detailed technical reports, white papers, and presentations to document findings, recommendations, and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
Support’s and represents Tech7’s culture in engagements with other employees, partners, and customers.
Travel is possible based on customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
25+ years of experience in intel or intel for space career fields
Demonstrated success in leading small technical teams in support of defense and national security missions.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior active-duty military experience in intel is strongly preferred.
Prior active-duty military experience in space systems is strongly preferred.
CI Poly is strongly preferred.
